TJX REWARDS® PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions

In these Program Terms and Conditions, “you” or “your” means the TJX Rewards® Credit Card or TJX Rewards® Platinum Mastercard® account (each, an “Account”) cardholder(s).

Ability to Earn Rewards: If your Account is in default as described in your Account Agreement (“Agreement”), you may be prohibited from earning points and may forfeit any rewards not already issued in the form of a Rewards Certificate. If your Account is closed for any reason, your membership in the Program will be terminated and the total balance of your accumulated reward earnings not issued as a Rewards Certificate will be forfeited. You will also forfeit any accumulated points if you cancel your Program membership or the Program is terminated. Additionally, any fraud or abuse related to the accrual of points or the issuance of a Rewards Certificate will result in forfeiture of accrued points as well as cancellation of membership in the Program. If your points are forfeited for any reason, they will not be reinstated. If your Account has a New York mailing address, you will be able to redeem any Rewards Points that you have accumulated for up to 90 days after we send you notice that your Account is closed or the Rewards Program has been modified, cancelled, closed or terminated (subject to the availability of Rewards Points). However, Rewards Points will be forfeited at Account closure if the Account was delinquent or if the Account was closed for fraud or other misuse.

Membership: While the Program is in operation, your participation in the Program will be renewed automatically each year, so long as your Account is open and not in default as described in your Agreement, unless you notify us of cancellation. The Program is not subject to a yearly program fee.

Earning Rewards: You will earn five (5) points for each dollar ($1) of Net Purchases made with your Account at T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, and online at any participating ecommerce site operating under any of the foregoing brands. In addition, TJX Rewards® Platinum Mastercard® cardholders will earn one (1) point for every dollar ($1) in Net Purchases charged to their TJX Rewards® Platinum Mastercard® at any other participating merchant or service where TJX Rewards® Platinum Mastercard® is accepted. Net Purchases charged to a TJX Rewards® Platinum Mastercard® at stores owned by The TJX Companies, Inc. (including related entities, collectively,“TJX”) located outside the United States or Puerto Rico will earn one (1) point for every dollar ($1). You may see points you earn advertised as % back in rewards. “Net Purchases” means purchases of goods and services made by you or any authorized user on your Account minus any returns or refunds. Gift Card purchases made at Cashstar.com do not qualify for 5% back in rewards. Point accrual will begin upon the Enrollment Date in the Program. “Enrollment Date” is the day on which you open your Account. No retroactive points will be awarded. You do not earn points on interest, cash advances, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your Account. Points will be deducted for any returns or credits made on your Account. Purchases using an Account must be returned for credit using the same Account, and are subject to the merchant’s return policies. Points will appear on your monthly statement. From time to time there may be promotional offers for the Program, which provide the opportunity to earn additional points as defined by the terms of the promotion.

Earning Restrictions: Points earned are not transferable, have no cash value and may not be used as payment on an Account or for any obligations to TJX or to Synchrony Bank. If there is any abuse of the Program, failure to follow Program terms or any misrepresentation by you, all points shall be forfeited and no additional points shall accumulate. Points from separate Accounts, even having the same address, may not be combined onto one Account. There is no maximum number of points that you can accumulate in the Program.

Expiration: Points earned in this Program will not expire for the life of the Program but Rewards Certificates expire two (2) years after the issue date, as permitted by law.

Certificate Process: Subject to these Terms and Conditions, points will accumulate and a $10 Rewards Certificate will be issued for every 1,000 points earned. Certificates may be issued in either $10 or $20 denominations. Any points in a billing cycle which total less than 1,000 will be applied toward a Rewards Certificate in a future billing cycle. Digital Rewards Certificates are available within 48 hours of earning through the TJX branded apps, TJX eCommerce sites or tjxrewards.com; the same Certificates will also be included within one to two billing cycles after your net points balance equals or exceeds 1,000 in your Account billing statement. Certificate balance may only be redeemed one time (based on Certificate Number), even if delivered in multiple formats.

Reward Restrictions: Rewards Certificates are only valid for purchases at participating T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, and online at any participating ecommerce site operating under any of the foregoing brands. Rewards Certificates are not redeemable for T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, or Homesense gift cards, gift certificates, e-gift cards, any third party gift cards or cash. Issued Rewards Certificates are not refundable, replaceable, or transferable for cash, credit, or other rewards under any circumstances. Lost, stolen or mutilated Rewards Certificates will not be replaced. No photocopies or replications will be honored. Additionally, any fraud or abuse related to the redemption of a Rewards Certificate will result in cancellation of membership in the Program. Rewards Certificates have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or its equivalent, and any unused portion will not be returned as cash. Rewards Certificates may not be used as payment on an Account or for any obligations to TJX. Use of any Rewards Certificate shall be subject to additional restrictions, if any, disclosed on the Rewards Certificate itself. Rewards Certificates are invalid after redemption. If the value of a purchase is less than the value of the Rewards Certificates being redeemed, then any remaining Rewards Certificate’s balance will remain on the Rewards Certificate or be returned in the form of a stored value card. Rewards Certificates are valid for two (2) years from issue date set forth on the Rewards Certificate, as permitted by law. Rewards Certificates are not “gift certificates” or “gift cards.”

Additional Obligations: You are responsible for any personal tax liability related to your participating in the Program.

Program Restrictions: Any cardmember may be disqualified from participation in the Program and all points and rewards may be eliminated due to violation of Program Terms and Conditions or fraudulent activity.

Right to Change/Modify/Cancel: The Program and benefits are offered by TJX and serviced by Synchrony Bank. TJX reserves the right to cancel, modify, restrict, waive or terminate the Program or any aspects or features of the Program at any time without prior notice.

Program Responsibility: Individual merchants and service providers are responsible for the quality and performance of any goods and/or services redeemed as a benefit of this Program. Any rules of the merchants relating to returns and exchanges of rewards apply. Any disputes concerning rewards will not affect your payment obligation on your Account. We are not responsible for any disputes among you or any authorized users relating to the Program. Questions regarding the Program should be directed to the toll-free number on the back of your credit card. Neither TJX nor Synchrony Bank shall be liable for any bodily harm and/or property damage and/or lost opportunity, which may result from participating in the Program or for the provision of goods or services by award merchants or service providers.

Program Void: The Program is void where prohibited by federal, state, or local law. These Terms and Conditions set forth all the terms of the Program; TJX has no other obligation with respect to the Program beyond those described in these Terms and Conditions, in accordance with applicable laws.
